Hope Levy‘s engaging 75-minute live acoustic musical presentation explores the life, music & enduring mystery of pioneering 1950s singer-songwriter Connie Converse (1924–?). Years before the folk revival, Converse wrote deeply personal, poetic, and wonderfully quirky songs decades ahead of their time. In 1974, she vanished, leaving behind her demos and a mystery in American music history. Winner of Outstanding Musical, 2024 San Diego Fringe.
Public Works Improv and Collage present a unique performance that brings together music, mystery, and storytelling.
