Richard Foss, acclaimed speaker, writer, and culinary historian, presents a sometimes-humorous look at “How Prohibition Changed America.” One hundred years after the 18th Amendment to the Constitution was enacted, calling for the banning of the manufacture, sale, or transportation of alcoholic beverages, there are many misunderstandings about Prohibition, including what America was like before, during, and afterward, and how that era still affects us today.
