Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story

Friends of San Pedro Library presents the award-winning documentary Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story in the Phil Scot Meeting Room. The film features the work of internationally known conservationist Lek Chaileret, known as Thailand’s “elephant whisperer,” as she works to rescue elephants abused in circuses, trekking, and forced labor. Producer and director Ashley Bell, will discuss the making of the film and her observations on how love and freedom can rehabilitate these damaged magnificent animals. FREE.
