“Love at” and “Love of” the Lighthouse

10 (Sat) – “LOVE AT” AND “LOVE OF” THE LIGHTHOUSE at Point Fermin Lighthouse (807 Paseo del Mar), 1-4p. – The Point Fermin Lighthouse is a wonderful community treasure that is loved by all. You are invited to celebrate “love at” and “love of” the lighthouse on Saturday, February 10, 1-4p. 2024 is the 150th anniversary of the lighthouse. Do you have a favorite memory or a photo to share? A proposal, wedding, Fairy Garden, Easter, or Halloween event? Young, old, and in between are encouraged to recall and reminisce about their experiences and express why they love the lighthouse. Look back with us as lighthouse love stories over the past 150 years are shared. Participate with your contribution as we embark on the next 150 years. February is also Heritage Month, when those who were responsible for saving the lighthouse from demolition are recognized and remembered. Come share memories as you enjoy a cup of cocoa.
