Ice Cream Day History Talk, Book Signing, and Tasting with Author Valerie Campbell

Frozen desserts have a longer history than you might expect – ancient Persians and Romans beat the summer heat by rushing ice fropm nearby mountains into cities and combining it with juices and herbs. Artist and author Valerie Campbell wrote about that history in her book with recipes, and will offer treats while presenting an insightful and humorous talk on the subject. Tickets: $7.
