Croatian Independence Day Celebration
36th ANNUAL CROATIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Sunday, May 24, 11 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Croatian American Club – 631 W. 9th St.
Enjoy Croatian entertainment and traditional foods! Doors open at 11 a.m. with food service (dine-in or takeout), including cevapi, lamb, desserts, and more, with a full bar; the Croatian American Club DJ playing traditional Croatian music; and vendor pop-up booths. The evening kicks off at 4 p.m. with a live duet performing the Croatian national anthem, and the Club president will emcee introductions of special guests, including local elected officials and the Croatian consulate. Croatian-language students of Scola Croatica will also perform traditional folk singing and dancing. From 5p to10p, enjoy live music by a to-be-announced, international visiting band. FREE admission.
