DESCRIPTION:Angels Gate Cultural Center and the Marine Mammal Care Center are collaborating on monthly marine science and art workshops! Join the Marine Mammal Education Team and Angels Gate artist Taylor Griffith to learn about pollution and create an art project. Event will include a science lesson about pollution and the way it impacts seals and sea lions and a workshop to create small “lure” sculptures out of plastic pulled from the ocean. FREE admission. All ages welcome! Supplies will be provided. The event will begin promptly at 1p. COVID-19 safety protocols (mask wearing and contact tracing) will be enforced on-site.
