SUMMARY:Pelican Cove Hike & Social Time
DESCRIPTION:Join the South Bay Walking and Hiking Group for a hike at Pelican Cove! The mostly-flat walk is approximately three miles and will take 1 and 1/2 hours to complete. The hike happens every Thursday\, and the group meets in the Pelican Cove parking lot beneath the pelican statue. The trail head is at the far\, lower end of the lot. SUMMARY:Open Mic Night at the Grand Annex
DESCRIPTION:Head over to the Grand Annex on the second Tuesday of each month for open mic night. Performers should plan to perform two songs or poems with an opportunity for a third if the  performance is kept to under 8 minutes. Microphones\, D.I. and keyboard available. To participate\, sign up at 6:30 PM at the Grand Annex. First 10 sign-ups are guaranteed to perform. Tickets: $5 cash only. Ticket includes stage time and one bar ticket for a beer/wine or soft drink and snack. Hosted by Ken Creighton\, Andrew Aragon\, and Taran Schindler. All ages welcome.
